Hi, a bit about Me
WHO AM I
My name is Lanre Adebambo and I'm a Software Developer.
I'm in my final year of Computing Science at the University of Alberta. I'm passionate about Functionality, Usability and Innovation and I believe Computing Science is a harmonizing balance of all three. I'm also a crazy football lover (the real football). When I'm not playing footy, you can catch me at your local hackathon ;) Currently on a quest to discover my inner artist.
VOLUNTEERING AND EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
- Volunteered as an orientation leader at the University of Alberta, giving incoming students a guide to programs, campus clubs and student services.
- Recently stepped down as the Vice President for Sports for the Undergraduate Association of Computing Science at the University of Alberta.
- Currently volunteering as a Youth Coordinator with the Youth Empowerment Group at Africa Center Edmonton, where I volunteered as a peer mentor and tutor in the past
- I play recreational soccer with the Edmonton District Soccer Association leagues.

- Improved Mover's payments and subscription systems
- Maintained existing cloud storage api integrations and developed integration for Put.io's cloud storage service
- Developed system for preserving Access Control Lists on files transferred between cloud storage services
- End-to-End development of both internal and user-facing tools and features.

Worked in a group to design a system that projects skeletal imagery onto a patient's torso and helps Chiropractors by identifying spine anatomy accurately and efficiently.

Worked in a team to build a recipe-finding Android application which relies on user populated data and allows queries based on recipe ingredients.
